The mission of the library program and its teacher-librarian is to teach information literacy skills, nurture the love of reading, prepare students to meet state standards, and partner with the 21st century school community to foster lifelong learning and global citizenship.

The Centennial Library is a busy center of our school.  Students learn to analyze information, communicate with technology and find books to satisfy their information needs and reading interests.  Classes are scheduled once a week, but students are welcome the first fifteen minutes of school to return and check out books.  Recess time is another popular time for students to browse the collection, read, or practice keyboarding.

We welcome parents to come check out books.  Drop by the library when you are at school!
