Remember to Vote in the November 3 General Election

Posted Date: 10/20/26 (06:00 PM)

The November 3, 2026 General Election is just around the corner!

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office Elections Division mailed ballots to registered voters on October 8, 2026. Voters are encouraged to complete and return their ballots early to ensure they are received on time.

Returning Your Ballot
Ballots can be returned by mail or placed in one of Thurston County's 31 secure ballot drop boxes.
  • By mail: No postage is required. Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The Thurston County Auditor's Office recommends using a ballot drop box rather than mailing your ballot during the final two weeks before Election Day.
  • Ballot drop boxes: Drop boxes are open 24 hours a day during the election and will close promptly at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3.

For a complete list of ballot drop box locations, visit the Thurston County Auditor's Office website.
