October 5: Cozy Day - P.J.'s, Comfy Clothes & Bring your Favorite Stuffy!
October 6: Favorite's Day - Sport, Hobby, Color, Animal, Star - whatever you LOVE!
October 7: Pattern Day - Polka Dots, Stripes, Checkered, Solids, Chevron, Houndstooth - the more the better!
October 8: Wild Hair Day - That's ok...show off that wild hair or just wear a hat!
October 9 - Pumpkin Fund Run - Wear Orange!
 

October 20th - Picture Day Make Ups

Did your student miss picture day? Or did you not like the picture that was taken? The photographers will be back in the building on October 20th. They are usually only here for a brief time in the morning.

If you received a packet and did not like the photo, send the entire packet in with your student and Clintworth will replace it for free.

October 26th-30th - Fall Conference Week

  • This is a great opportunity for students to share with their adults what they are learning and their goals for the year.
  • Families can register for a conference date and time starting October 7th - the 23rd using Skyward Family Access. Scheduling will open by 9 a.m. 
  • Problems signing up for a conference? Please call the front office to schedule.
  • Grab N Go sack lunch available to take home; order as normal in the classroom.
  • Dismissal is @ 11:05 a.m. each day

October 26th-29th - It’s Scholastic Book Fair Time!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Centennial from October 26th through October 29th (Monday - Thursday) during Parent/Teacher Conference week. It will be set up in the small gym instead of the school library. 

The proceeds from this fair will purchase many new books for our school library. Keep an eye out for Book fair flyers. They will be sent home the week before the fair as well as additional information and book fair website and hours.

Warning: Rainy Weather Approaching!

A friendly reminder, slips and falls happen no matter the age so please be sure your student has a complete change of clothes in their backpack. That being said, we work to encourage kids to refrain from purposely getting wet in puddles or on slides. Changes of clothes are meant for when accidents happen. We simply do not have enough clothes to go around, nor the storage room. We appreciate you sharing this message with your student.
 

Attendance reminder and early pickup procedures

Our office is open 7:00 - 3:00 each day; contact info is below.

For attendance messages, using the attendance email is best: ces-office@osd.wednet.edu. Please include your student's name and reason for the absence. If you email your student's teacher, please cc the office on the email.

Please note that parents/guardians do not have to call the office if your student is getting picked up early. Please come to the front office and sign them out. We will call them from class at that time. For various reasons, we do not pull students out of class to wait in the office until they are signed out. Thank you for your understanding!
